I'm Tired

Meh.

I guess I'm just tired today.

It's Friday, and while Fridays are supposed to be good, mine rarely are. Some drama usually comes about that completely stresses me out, making my weekends stressful so I have no chance to relax... as if I had time to relax... Weekends are just as busy as the rest of the week.

Ugh.

Anyhoo...

Yesterday, via Henchman Publishing I was introduced to http://fabricadeherois.blogspot.com/ a Portuguese blog with a nice flash program for making heroes, similar to HeroMachine...
Naturally, I couldn't resist making some pics for Flashpoint...
I give you the stars of "Flashpoint: The Animated Series!"

Calamity Kid, the young, plucky star of our show.

Granted, its been a couple of months since I've read Flashpoint, I just basically put the kid together from memory... One of these days I'll have to bug frank about "completely accurate depictions" of the characters... heheh...

e-Girl comes next of course... If CK is plucky, e-girl redefines that term.

You know, in an existentialist, digital kind of way...
Yeah...

Don't ask me about her choice in clothes and makeup... She does half of that stuff just to annoy CK. Kind of retro-mis-matched colorful ... clown chic? Ha! CK would use that line on her. And then she'd probably airbrush peacock feather designs on his hair while he slept...

Next come's CK's mentor and uncle, currently MIA, Legacy. My regrets on this picture are lack of a whip-long ponytail and more asian-tinted features. But, well, I worked with what I had. Adding a coat to him didn't look right, so I left it out.

Leading their motley crew, er.. Muscle Cell, is of course Grandpa... Who, I am afraid to say, came out reminding me of Grand Moff Tarkin:

But I digress.

Hmm, wait a moment... Peter Cushing as Grandpa.... Alert the casting department! Wait, what? Oh yeah, I forgot, he's dead. Oh well. Sorry about that, false alarm.

Next comes e-Girl's mentor in the digital domains, Serene.

I realized after I had completed this one that I forgot to add the energy corona around her as I did with e-Girl... But ah, well...

And, last but certainly not least, our favorite gruff-but-loveable mechanic and all around tech-savvy guy, Tinker!

I wish one of the options for hand-held items was a wrench. A really BIG wrench ;-) hehehe...

Well, anyways, there you have it.

Flashpoint: The Animated Series cast.

Maybe I'll do more later, add some bad guys ;-)
